Tiny Bathroom Concerts

Tiny Bathroom Concerts are a video series and collaboration of several like minded audio, video and photography professionals: Dick Picks, Warbird Creative, Lightning Bulb Productions, and our team The Murdock Manor. We showcase up and coming artists in a unique setting, tiny bathrooms across the Boston area.

Sofar Sounds: Boston

From 2014-2017 I was actively engaged in helping build international living room concert circuit Sofar Sounds in Boston. We packed up all of our recording equipment, live sound gear and lighting to create intimate concert experiences in unconventional spaces for audiences in the know, who receive invitations to shows through a lottery system and eventually ticketed events. Sofar Boston has gone from several shows a month to over a dozen and showcases both established, and up and coming artists, exposing them to truly captivated audiences.

The Murdock Manor Presents

Starting in 2011, we began booking and hosting concerts in our attic space in Brighton, MA dubbed ‘The Murdock Manor’. We never knew that we would soon be booking shows all over Boston in actual rock clubs, programming lights and making stage designs for album releases for rising boston bands, and helping to bring intimate living room concert circuit Sofar Sounds to Boston.

Over the years, We have hosted weekly residencies at multiple clubs including a year at The Milky Way Lounge in Jamaica Plain, 2 years at The Phoenix Landing in Central Square Cambridge, 2 years at Thunder Road in Union Square Somerville and most recently ‘Park Sounds’, a monthly concert series in Winthrop Park in Harvard Square.

We have also been actively involved in video shoots with Tiny Bathroom Concerts, Sofar Sounds Boston, a collaboration with Fitz Ross Productions for their “Spare Room Sessions”, and more!
